This is the best blue and white saddle shoe I have ever seen, and I can’t say enough about it. These folks have vastly improved on the classic design without disturbing the classic look by the subtle and eye-appealing texturing of the leather. And while so many dress and casual shoe makers have taken to attaching soles to virtually every shoe these days that look like they were designed for climbing Mt. Everest, these soles are textured for safety as well, but this is done in a way that is perfectly recessed and can’t be seen without turning the shoe over, thusly eliminating the danger of slipping in wet weather that was a risk with the old saddle shoes without disturbing in the slightest way the classic look of flat, reddish soles. The price is so low as to be eye popping for a guy who has handled over three thousand bucks more than a few times for shoes that don’t fit nearly as well. I’m stocking up before these folks wake up and raise the price.

Well made, great fit and classic style. By far, these are my most comfortable pair of shoes. Sherman Brothers, especially Jeffery, are easy to work with, very professional and have their act together providing quality products and efficient sales & delivery processes. Bravo!

Just received them I have only tried them for sizes but shoes have a very high quality to them. Will review in a couple weeks if I like them than I will order the other color

This shoe is really something special! It has all of the traits of a shoe from 80+ years ago. You can tell it was made in the same fashion as shoes were made when men would go to cobblers to have a shoe hand-crafted for their feet. The leather fixtures are amazing and feel hand-crafted. I actually changed the laces that came with the shoe, I preferred much more of a waxed dress lace and found one that matched in color with the dark blue portions of the shoe. This shoe would go well with any blue suit or vintage-inspired outfit that includes blue slacks or jeans. I really love the fit of this shoe. It is very roomy all around and seems of quality space for my feet. My only minor issue with the shoe is the thickness of the leather. It's not quite apparent based on the pictures online just how thick the leather that makes up this shoe is. While there is plenty of room inside the shoe, the tongue and side bolsters are rather thick and lay heavy on the top of your foot. It's not quite a problem, but it is something one should note before purchasing. All-in-all, this shoe represents the way things were in the past, and seems to be just like those great shoes of Mid-Century America.
